The PICOWAY Laser Tattooing by Candela in Rouen
The picosecond laser is a versatile platform. It is ideal for treating acne scars, wrinkles, benign pigmented lesions, as well as for removing tattoos. In fact, the PicoWay® laser offers four types of treatments on a single platform, with flexible parameters. This allows for highly customizable care. Thus, we can adjust the wavelength, fluence, firing frequency and spot diameter as needed.
Aspect technique
Additionally, the PicoWay Zoom handpiece (532 nm, 1064 nm) specifically targets tattoos and pigmented lesions. On the other hand, PicoWay handpieces (730 nm, 785 nm) are designed to remove green and blue tattoos, as well as benign pigmented lesions.
Efficacy of PicoWay®: Significant Clinical Results
The PicoWay® laser has demonstrated significant effectiveness in all clinical studies conducted.
For acne scars (Resolve 1064 nm), 94% of patients observed at least 50% fading after just four sessions. Regarding wrinkles (Resolve 532 nm and/or Resolve 1064 nm), 82% of patients noted at least 50% reduction after four sessions. While 92% saw a similar reduction after 12 weeks of treatment.
Regarding benign pigmented lesions (532 nm or 1064 nm), 96% of patients noted a reduction of 50% after four sessions. For tattoo removal (532 nm, 785 nm, 1064 nm, 730 nm), 86% of patients obtained 50% removal on black or multi-colored tattoos after three treatments. Additionally, 83% of patients saw a similar reduction in blue/green tattoos after just two treatments.
Results adapted to different skin types
The PicoWay® system is also suitable for a wide range of phototypes depending on the application and the handpiece used. Thus, phototypes I to IV can be treated for pigmentary lesions. Phototypes I to IV for wrinkles with Resolve. While phototypes I to VI for tattoo removal, and phototypes II to V for acne scars with Resolve 1064 nm.
